It seems to me like someone just opened his eyelids after a long unexplained dream and suddenly sees only this much of an ancient door or maybe a window, but doesn’t know what’s it is closed on… maybe still dreaming !! Such an inspiring photo.. Perfect in black & White ..

Very lovely verse Tarek. The image is perfect – reflecting the mystery but also the enlightenment of which you speak…. though he fact that this river is torrential is a bit unnerving — I know you are likely a good swimmer though ~ dive in friend!!
“torrential” .. It felt odd , but as it came out I had the weired feelining that the whole verse was made for it .. It reflects my state of mind .. And it shows how stong and revealing is the tiniest beam of light , and how unconcealing the vastness of darkness … Thank you for the comment lovely RL ..
